Our Story

The Barbara Knight Foundation was established by Barbara Knight after her personal battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Following her diagnosis in January 2021, Barbara recognized the financial hardships faced by fellow AML patients and their families. This foundation is dedicated to raising awareness about AML and providing essential financial and emotional support to those affected, ensuring that Barbara's legacy continues to help others in need.

With a mission to promote awareness of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and the critical need for bone marrow donors, the Barbara Knight Foundation strives to make a difference in the lives of AML patients. Thanks to community support, 75% of donations remain in Palm Beach County, directly assisting local patients in their fight against this disease.
