Founded in the Fall of 2013 by Annie Palomino, BandWith is a Chicago-based non-profit organization dedicated to promoting wellness for youth through high-quality performing arts instruction. Since its inception, BandWith has connected over 700 young people, ages 5-21, with outstanding arts instructors and mentors, providing them with essential performance opportunities and support.
BandWith serves 185 students annually through free in-school and after-school programs located in the East Garfield Park community. The organization is transforming a neglected building into a state-of-the-art performing arts center, which will house various programs and provide job-training opportunities.
