About BaMidbar

Founded in 2016, BaMidbar emerged from the Jewish camping movement, harnessing the power of experiential education to foster growth and self-discovery. With its first wilderness therapy program launched in 2018, BaMidbar became an independent 501(c)(3) in 2021, expanding its services to include outpatient clinical support in 2023. Located in the heart of the Jewish community, BaMidbar is dedicated to helping Jewish youth and young adults navigate life's challenges.

Impact of BaMidbar

In 2023, BaMidbar reached 2,085 participants through 73 programs, opened its first regional office in Boston, and doubled its staff size. Participants have experienced significant personal transformation through the organization’s innovative approach to therapy.
