Ballet Folklorico Flor de Mayo (BFFM) was established in 1994 to educate the world about the richness of Mexican culture through vibrant dance and music. Originally focused on young children, BFFM has expanded to include teenagers and young adults, forming a professional dance company. Recently, the organization has reopened kids folklorico classes to nurture the next generation of dancers.
BFFM has participated in numerous international dance festivals, earning accolades such as the GRAND PRIX at the 12th International Competition Festival of Folklore, Dance and Music, ETOILES DE PARIS 2018. The annual Itotia World Dance Festival in Southern California further showcases cultural diversity and education through dance.
