Our Story
Bali Children’s Project began in the early 1990s when a compassionate couple, Joyce Scott and John Cooke, noticed children in Bali were missing out on education. This realization sparked a movement to combat rural poverty, particularly affecting young girls. What started as assistance with tuition costs has evolved into a comprehensive network of schools and educational programs. Under the leadership of Linda Moselle Venter, the organization expanded significantly, creating structured support and a dedicated team. The sponsorship program has become the largest initiative, helping over 1,000 students achieve high school graduation. Additional programs, including sex education and child protection, have further enriched the lives of tens of thousands of children.
