Our Story
Baldwin Emergency Medical Service began its mission on November 17, 1979, delivering vital ambulance services to the residents of Baldwin Borough. Over the past 40 years, Baldwin EMS has expanded its community-based emergency medical services to include Pleasant Hills, West Mifflin, Whitaker, Brentwood, and West Homestead. Covering approximately 26.5 square miles and serving over 75,000 residents, Baldwin EMS operates a fleet of nine Advanced Life Support ambulances, one rescue truck, and six support vehicles from two strategically located stations.
