Our Story

The Baldwin County Humane Society, formerly known as BARC, has been a beacon of hope for animals since 1979. As the first animal advocacy group in Baldwin County, this no-kill adoption agency is committed to eliminating the suffering of abused and abandoned pets through spay/neuter programs, education, rescue, and adoption.
