Our Story

The Baja Animal Sanctuary offers a refuge for abused, abandoned, and needy animals in Baja California. Founded in 1997, the sanctuary is dedicated to improving the quality of life for these animals through compassionate care and rehabilitation.

Impact on Animal Welfare

In 2023, the sanctuary placed 155 dogs and 30 cats in loving homes, while taking in 207 dogs and 17 cats. With a focus on spaying and neutering, 244 animals were sterilized for adoption, and 1378 local dogs and cats were sterilized through our clinics.
