Our Story

Since 1986, Badger Prairie Needs Network has been a beacon of hope in Dane County, Wisconsin. What began as a small food pantry at Salem United Church of Christ has transformed into a vital community resource, entirely run by dedicated volunteers. BPNN now operates one of the busiest food pantries in the area, providing essential services such as food assistance, community meals, legal advocacy, career development, and nutrition education.

Impact

In 2023, BPNN made a significant impact by providing food assistance to 81,000 individuals, filling 24% of Dane County's meal gap. The organization distributed an impressive 2 million pounds of food while diverting 250 tons of food from landfills, showcasing its commitment to sustainability and community support.
