Our Story

The Bacterial Locomotion and Signal Transduction (BLAST) group was founded in 1990 to create a collaborative environment for researchers in the field of prokaryotic microorganisms. By organizing biennial meetings, BLAST fosters innovation and knowledge sharing among faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students.
