About BackStory Theatre
Founded in 2006 by Anna Marie Wilcox, BackStory Theatre emerged from a need for accessible performing arts in Broomfield, Colorado. With a vision to provide affordable theatre classes and productions, BackStory became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2013. Over the years, the organization has transformed from a small sole-proprietorship to a thriving community hub, led by dedicated staff and a passionate board of directors.
