Our Story

Founded in 2015 by Mr. Lawrence Lindsey in Dayton, Ohio, Back To Basics Youth Education Center (BTBYEC) aims to empower inner-city youth through computer education and career exploration. With a strong background in education and military service, Lindsey began mentoring students at Dunbar Early College High School, leading to the development of programs focused on computer coding and personal growth skills.
