Baby’s Bounty

Our Story

Founded by Kim Amato in 2008, Baby’s Bounty emerged from a deep concern for families facing homelessness and the lack of essential supplies for their newborns. After discovering that many newborns were discharged from hospitals without basic necessities, Kim began collecting items to create Baby Bundles from her living room. Over the past 15 years, Baby’s Bounty has expanded its reach, operating diaper banks across Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, and Reno/Sparks, as well as mobile diaper banks in rural Clark County. In 2023, the organization launched the Diapers for Diplomas initiative, partnering with six Nevada higher education institutions to support parenting students in their educational journeys.

Our Impact

Since May 2020, Baby’s Bounty has distributed nearly 5 million diapers and 10 million wipes to over 45,000 families in Nevada. Many diaper bank attendees have expressed that without this support, they would face the difficult decision between purchasing diapers or food. Recognized by the City of Las Vegas and the Governor of Nevada, Baby’s Bounty stands as the only consistent diaper resource in the state.
