The Baby Bureau

Our Story

Founded in 2011 by Fran Wasserman, The Baby Bureau began in her home to address the urgent needs of underserved and at-risk babies. What started as a small collection of donated clothing has blossomed into a vital community resource. In 2012, a partnership with Abington Hospital allowed for a larger volunteer space, enabling continued growth and outreach.

Impact

Since its inception, The Baby Bureau has expanded from a single health department partnership to a network of over 40 health and human services providers, distributing Baby Bundles to families in need.
