Our Story

Awamaki is a nonprofit social enterprise dedicated to connecting Andean artisan weavers with global markets. By collaborating with women artisans, Awamaki supports their journey towards educational and financial independence.

Impact

Awamaki partners with eight women-led, rural, Andean artisan cooperatives, providing training in quality control, product development, and technical skills improvement. This initiative creates sustainable economic opportunities for Indigenous women artisans in Peru.
