Our Story

The Avian Reconditioning Center (ARC) is a dedicated nonprofit conservation resource located in Apopka, Florida. Since 2001, ARC has focused on raptor rehabilitation, education, research, and falconry, fostering a deeper public appreciation for Florida’s majestic raptors and their natural habitats.

Impact

In 2023, ARC admitted 237 birds and successfully released 138, achieving a remarkable 58% release rate. This success comes despite increasing threats to wildlife from habitat loss and poisons, showcasing the vital role ARC plays in wildlife conservation.
