About ANMA

The Auxiliary to the National Medical Association (ANMA) is a dedicated volunteer service organization founded in 1936. Comprising spouses of active members and widows and widowers of deceased members, ANMA focuses on promoting interest in the National Medical Association and educating the public on vital health matters.

Impact

ANMA has significantly impacted the African American community by awarding scholarships to over 700 medical students through its National African-American Youth Initiative Scholars Program (NAAYI), addressing critical health disparities.
