Our Story

Founded in January 2015, Autism Urban Connections Inc. emerged from the need for support and resources in African American and economically disadvantaged communities. As the first and only African American, family-focused Autism nonprofit in Pennsylvania, the organization transitioned from a support group to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in September 2018. The mission is to provide education, support, advocacy, and empowerment to families affected by Autism, ensuring they have access to vital resources that enhance their quality of life.
