Our Story

Founded by Karen Blake in 2020, Autism Career Training (ACT) was established to bridge the gap between education and employment for individuals with autism in Middle Tennessee. Partnering with Matthew Powell and Dr. Andrew Burnham, ACT developed innovative vocational training programs that equip trainees with essential job skills, transforming their abilities into valuable workforce contributions.

Impact

ACT provides vital vocational and prevocational training, enabling individuals on the autism spectrum to thrive in meaningful careers and become active community members.
