Our Story

The Autism Faith Network was founded by Tonya Nash, a dedicated mother of two autistic sons. Recognizing the challenges faced by autistic individuals and their families in faith-based settings, she initiated the Autism Awareness Month Faith Based Initiative in 2016. This initiative evolved into the Autism Faith Network, a nonprofit organization committed to fostering autism awareness, acceptance, and inclusion within local and faith-based communities.

Impact

Since its inception, the Autism Faith Network has partnered with over 102 churches to promote autism awareness and inclusion. Through initiatives like Manna from Heaven, which provides grocery store gift cards to those in need, and Cheerful Giving, offering sensory toys during the holiday season, the organization has significantly impacted the lives of many families affected by autism.
