Our Story
The Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer was founded in December 2006 by Dr. James and Mrs. Amy Jo Osborn after the tragic loss of their son, Austin Hatcher Osborn, to a rare and aggressive form of brain and spinal tumors. This heartfelt mission aims to provide comprehensive support for families affected by pediatric cancer, ensuring they receive care from diagnosis through survivorship.
Impact
Over the past 16 years, the foundation has positively impacted more than 90,000 children across 23 states and 42 children’s hospitals. In 2023 alone, the foundation delivered $4,727,798 in valued clinical services, contributing to a total of over $30 million since its inception—all at no cost to families.
