Austin Galano Club

Our Story

The Austin Galano Club is dedicated to serving the recovering community of Austin and its surrounding areas, with a special focus on the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community. This welcoming space provides operational support for 12-Step based programs and related activities, ensuring that individuals in recovery have a safe, affordable, and comfortable environment to gather. AGC is committed to inclusivity, welcoming all individuals in recovery or those supporting them, regardless of race, color, creed, or sexual identity.

Impact

Currently, AGC serves 23 recovery groups from 12 anonymous fellowships, hosting over 45 weekly meetings. Approximately 750 community members participate each week, utilizing the space for fellowship, step work, and service activities.
