Our Story

The Austin Amateur Radio Club, established in 1916, is one of the oldest amateur radio clubs in the United States. Founded by five pioneers in amateur radio, the club has a rich history, having been suspended during World War I and reestablished in 1919. Today, it thrives as an active affiliate of the ARRL, dedicated to community service and education in amateur radio.
