Our Story

Founded in 1988, Aurora has been a beacon of hope for the homeless and near homeless in Evansville, Indiana. What began as a coalition of dedicated individuals and organizations has evolved into a robust independent nonprofit, committed to providing permanent, long-term housing solutions for those in need.

Impact

Aurora impacts over 1,600 individuals each year, including children, veterans, and individuals with disabilities. With over 500 people housed and more than 250 homeless children served annually, the organization is making a significant difference in the community.
