Our Story

Aurora Christian Schools began as a dream in the hearts of concerned parents and Christian citizens in 1975. With a small gathering of about 40 individuals, the vision for a school founded on Christian education and Godly leadership took shape. On September 3, 1975, ACS opened its doors to 82 students in grades K-9, utilizing facilities loaned by Claim Street Baptist Church. Over the years, the school has expanded, receiving full accreditation and recognition from various educational bodies, and now serves all grades under one roof, emphasizing its commitment to Christian education and community service.

ACS aims to lead students to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, educating them from a Christian worldview and preparing them for a life of service. Students are encouraged to develop meaningful relationships, respect authority, think critically, and engage in community service.
