In the late 1960s, a vision emerged from a collaboration of business leaders, farmers, and local Ruritan Club members to create an entertainment center in The Valley. This vision led to the establishment of the Augusta Agricultural-Industrial Exposition, which received its Certificate of Incorporation on July 22, 1969. The purchase of the 225-acre Yost Miller Farm marked the beginning of a vibrant venue dedicated to showcasing the agricultural and industrial assets of Augusta County.
Augusta Expo serves as a cornerstone for economic development in Augusta County, offering a high-quality venue for public events, trade shows, concerts, and agricultural exhibitions. This multi-purpose facility fosters community engagement and supports local businesses.
