Our Story

Founded in January 1955, Audubon of Martin County is dedicated to conserving and wisely using America’s natural resources. With a strong community of 160 members, the organization has led numerous conservation projects, including the management of the Reed Wilderness Seashore and the establishment of the Possum Long Nature Center.

Our Impact

Audubon of Martin County actively manages the Possum Long Nature Center and has created a wetland that supports local wildlife while improving water quality. Education programs connect children with nature, fostering a future generation of environmental stewards.
