Attleboro Enterprises Properties Inc, known as AEI, has been a beacon of hope and opportunity since its inception in the mid-1960s. Originally established as a sheltered workshop in downtown Attleboro, AEI has evolved to meet the diverse needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD). Initially, employees engaged in light assembly and mass mailings, earning wages based on their productivity. Over the decades, AEI has expanded its services, transitioning from a workshop model to a comprehensive support system that includes job placement, residential homes, and day habilitation programs.

Our Impact

Today, AEI serves over 600 individuals annually, providing essential services that empower them to lead fulfilling lives. The organization has been recognized by the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and the Massachusetts DDS Office of Quality Enhancement (OQE) for its commitment to quality and excellence in service delivery.
