Our Story

The Atlantic Shark Institute is a Rhode Island-based nonprofit organization committed to advancing shark research and conservation. With a dedicated team of over 40 volunteers and a distinguished Research Advisory Board, ASI employs cutting-edge techniques to study various shark species, including the great white and shortfin mako. This collaborative approach enables ASI to play a vital role in the management and awareness of large predatory sharks in the Atlantic region.

Our Impact
