Founded in 1988, the Atlanta Junior Rowing Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing high school students in Metro Atlanta with exceptional rowing opportunities. Starting as a small club at the Atlanta Rowing Club’s boathouse, AJRA has grown to become the largest and most successful high school rowing program in Georgia, with over 200 rowers from more than 75 schools.
AJRA’s mission is to teach the sport of rowing while inspiring youth through character, commitment, and community. By fostering connections among athletes and their communities, AJRA empowers young people to build a brighter future.
