Our Story
Founded in 1994 by four breast cancer survivors, SHAREing & CAREing addresses the critical lack of breast cancer services in Queens County. The organization is dedicated to providing outreach, education, support, and advocacy for individuals, especially those who are under- or uninsured members of minority groups.
Impact
In the past five years, SHAREing & CAREing has positively impacted over 2,500 individuals, offering one-on-one counseling to more than 450 patients and families, and reaching over 14,000 individuals through educational outreach.
