Our Story
The Association for Public Art, founded in 1872, is the nation’s first private nonprofit organization dedicated to public art. Located in Philadelphia, aPA collaborates with artists, communities, and civic leaders to create a Museum Without Walls™, making art encounters a part of everyday life.
