Our Story

In 1998, a dedicated group of bishops, priests, and laity recognized a pressing need within the Catholic Church for enhanced support and effective resources for Catechumenal Leaders. This led to the formation of the Association for Catechumenal Ministry, a nonprofit organization committed to fulfilling this vital need. Over the years, the community of educators has expanded across the United States, guiding numerous parishes and dioceses in leading individuals into full communion with Christ through the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) process.
