Our Story
Founded in 1963, Associated Students, Incorporated California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (ASICPP) has been dedicated to enhancing the college experience for students at Cal Poly Pomona. With a student-elected Board of Directors, ASICPP serves as the voice of over 28,000 students, ensuring their needs and interests are represented. As one of nearly 100 authorized auxiliaries of the California State University Board of Trustees, ASICPP plays a crucial role in fulfilling the mission of the California State University System.
ASICPP is committed to providing opportunities for student engagement, leadership, and a wide range of programs and services. These include recreation and wellbeing initiatives, student government, clubs and organizations, and a food pantry. With an annual operating budget of $18 million and oversight of 294,253 square feet of student space, ASICPP is a dynamic institution focused on care, growth, and transformation.
