Our Story

Founded in 1989 by Cindy Anderson, Assistance League of Santa Clarita was inspired by the positive impact of local philanthropic programs. With a vision to support her community, Cindy gathered friends to create a chapter dedicated to helping those in need. The first initiative, Teddy Bear Patrol, has been comforting children in crisis since its inception. Over the years, the organization has expanded its reach, launching the Operation School Bell® program, which now provides essential clothing and shoes to underserved students across the Santa Clarita Valley.

Impact

Since 1991, Assistance League of Santa Clarita has provided clothing and shoes to over 35,000 students, with a total value exceeding $3,200,000. Additionally, the icare for kids program has facilitated eye exams and glasses for over 700 students, valued at more than $82,000.
