This all-volunteer organization has a rich history, beginning with a group of women who met in homes and later at the Montecito Country Club. In 1955, the chapter saved the historic Hunt-Stambach House from demolition, showcasing their commitment to preserving local heritage. Today, with approximately 350 members, the League has implemented sixteen philanthropic programs, contributing over 54,000 volunteer hours last year alone.
