Our Story
Founded in 1995 by Program Director Jill Felice, Assistance Dogs of the West emphasizes a compassionate training approach that fosters deep bonds between humans and dogs. The organization focuses on teaching diverse student populations to support professional dog trainers, encouraging youth leadership, and expanding its programs to meet the needs of various communities.
Impact
ADW places service dogs with clients requiring support for various disabilities, including mobility impairments, autism, PTSD, and more.
