ASSETS Lancaster cultivates entrepreneurial leadership to create economic opportunities for underserved communities. Founded in 1993, ASSETS has dedicated 30 years to transforming lives through business initiatives. Originally part of a larger microenterprise development effort, ASSETS has expanded its focus to include women's leadership, microlending, and social enterprise training. The vision is clear: to see Lancaster and Central Pennsylvania thrive through increased ownership among women and people of color, while addressing pressing social and environmental challenges.

Impacting Lives and Businesses

With a proven track record, ASSETS has launched 336 businesses and supported over 2,067 women entrepreneurs, distributing 175 business-expanding loans. This impact demonstrates a commitment to fostering economic growth and empowerment within the community.
