Our Story

Founded by passionate parents and friends of individuals with disabilities, Assets, Inc. has been a beacon of hope for over 40 years. Originally known as Alaska Specialized Employment and Training Services, this organization has evolved to provide essential employment opportunities and supported living services to individuals with developmental disabilities and mental illnesses. Today, it stands as the 64th largest private employer in Alaska, employing over 270 individuals, with nearly half having disabilities.
