Our Story

Since 2011, Aspire Movement has been dedicated to multiplying leaders through mentoring. Originating from a partnership between Briarwood Presbyterian Church and Impact Family Counseling, Aspire became a 501c3 nonprofit in 2014. The organization has grown significantly, with the first cohort of students graduating in 2018. Despite challenges like the COVID pandemic, Aspire has continued to thrive, integrating career preparation assessments in 2023 to better support students' transitions into adulthood.

Impact

With over 375 students mentored and 70 active mentors contributing more than 75,000 hours, Aspire has made a significant impact on the lives of youth in Birmingham, AL.
