Our Story

In 2015, a profound bond formed between Henry Iwumbwe and Andrew DeVaney during their time in East Africa. Driven by a shared commitment to God’s people and a desire to bring lasting change, AsOne Ministries was born. Inspired by John 17:21, the mission is clear: to end relational, spiritual, and economic poverty one community at a time.

Our Approach

AsOne Ministries rethinks Christ-centered community development by integrating personal transformation with social change. Focusing on one community at a time in Uganda, the organization believes that significant change stems from significant relationships. By understanding the interconnected needs of families, AsOne has developed a local, holistic, replicable, and sustainable community development approach.

Our Impact

With the support of over 1,300 donors and a dedicated team of more than 300 in Uganda, AsOne has made a significant impact in five communities. The organization builds schools, health centers, farms, and businesses, empowering local individuals and fostering sustainable transformation.
