Founded in 1990, the Asombro Institute for Science Education is dedicated to increasing natural science literacy through engaging, place-based education. Located in New Mexico, the organization serves over 22,000 K-12 students and 1,500 adults annually, providing hands-on, inquiry-based science education programs in classrooms, schoolyards, and at the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Park.
