Founded in 2004 by a group of dedicated Maya immigrants, Asociacion Mayab is committed to preserving the rich cultural heritage and language of the Yucatec Maya community. With a focus on educational programs, youth leadership development, and community outreach, this organization serves approximately 80,000 Maya immigrants in the San Francisco Bay Area. By fostering a strong connection to their roots, Asociacion Mayab ensures that the traditions and values of the Maya people are passed down through generations.
