API Equality-LA

Our Story

Founded in 2005, API Equality-LA is a dedicated LGBTQ rights and racial justice organization that builds grassroots community power within the Asian Pacific Islander (API) community in Los Angeles. By uniting veteran and emerging activists, API Equality-LA represents the rich ethnic, linguistic, and gender diversity of the Asian American community. With the support of over 50 organizations and numerous community leaders, API Equality-LA engages thousands of community members through educational events, parades, and protests.
