About Ashley House

Ashley House was established in 1989 by a dedicated group of individuals who identified a critical gap in services for medically fragile children and their families. Before Ashley House, these children often faced extended hospital stays, adult nursing home placements, or were sent far away from their families. Today, Ashley House offers a vital transition between hospital and home, ensuring that children receive the skilled nursing care they need while their families prepare for their return home.

Impact of Ashley House

Each year, Ashley House NW provides over $250,000 in uncompensated care, assisting families who cannot afford the necessary care for their children. With a partnership with Seattle Children’s Hospital, Ashley House has supported over 800 children and their caregivers through innovative programs designed to meet their unique needs.
