The Asheville Fire Fighters Association, originally chartered in 1932, has a rich history of advocating for the rights and welfare of firefighters in Asheville. After a brief disbandment, the association was rechartered in 1946 and returned to its original number, Local 332, in 2015 to honor its legacy. This organization has consistently fought for better working conditions, safety, and benefits for its members.
