Our Story

The Asbury Woods Partnership, established in 2001, has a rich history rooted in the Devonian period. With significant contributions from Otto Behrend, who generously donated land for educational and recreational purposes, the organization has evolved to manage this beautiful property and expand its programming.

Impact

Each year, Asbury Woods serves over 13,000 school children and more than 100,000 visitors, providing them with nature-based experiences through engaging environmental education programs, outdoor recreation, and summer camps.

Why Donate?

Your donations support innovative environmental science lessons, keep the Nature Center and its 234 acres free and open to the public, and provide free and low-cost programs to the community.
