Founded in 1980 by Lila Harnett, ArtTable began in New York City to ensure women had a voice in the visual arts. Over the years, it has transformed into a national nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting women and nonbinary professionals in arts administration.

Making a Lasting Impact

ArtTable has successfully supported 183 fellows and partnered with 98 leading art organizations, distributing over $665,000 since the Fellowship’s inception. The organization has influenced the career paths of over 2,000 students and emerging professionals through its Career Development Roundtable.
