In 2013, Laura Mudd, the Arts Education Director of Faubourg Theatre, identified a critical need for improved literacy rates in Hanover Park Schools. This led to the creation of a pro-bono after-school literacy-based ballet class aimed at engaging the most disengaged students. The program has since evolved into a year-round initiative, offering high-quality arts education and a six-week summer enrichment program across multiple schools.
