Founded in 1987 by Angela Tripi-Weiss and fellow artists, Arts In Action V A P Inc emerged from the need for art education after funding cuts at local schools. Since then, the organization has expanded its reach, providing fine art education to over 1,000 students across 36 classrooms in the Upper West Side.
AIAVAP educates students and volunteers about the therapeutic value of art, fostering a deeper appreciation for creativity within the community.
